Indonesia is the second largest tropical agricultural country. Sugarcane, paper, and rice husk ash produce a lot of waste that is not used optimally. Bagasse has a strong fiber content. Paper contains hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin. Rice husk waste Rice husk is a waste material from rice that has special properties, namely it contains chemical compounds that can be pozzolanic, and namely containing silica (SiO2) a compound which when mixed with cement and water can be used to increase the compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete. The combination of the two is to develop a strong and flexible ceiling. Ceiling carries a very important role in a building, including residential homes. Ceilings have characters such as lightweight, not waterproof, non-flammable, etc. The purpose of this research is to develop a natural ceiling that is friendly to the surrounding environment, as an effort to utilize bagasse waste, paper waste and rice husk waste. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research where the focus of the description is on the development of ceiling innovations, ceilings that are safe and friendly to the surrounding environment as an effort to utilize bagasse waste, paper waste, and rice husk waste. The method of collection is through observation. The tests carried out are water seepage test, visible properties test, and fire resistance test. The results of the study show that the ceiling is resistant to various weathers, resistant to fire and light ceilings and does not suffer from defects. Based on the tests carried out, this study succeeded in identifying the effectiveness of Nailing as a ceiling innovation that is friendly to the surrounding environment, as an effort to utilize bagasse waste, paper waste, and rice husk ash waste.
